After being cleaned these vials are assembled with the following materials: Type 1 borosilicate glass, PTFE/silicone septa, and a polypropylene cap. The vials are available in either clear or amber glass. All of the vials are packaged with an open top cap and a tan/white PTFE/silicone septa.

Precleaned Vials. Our precleaned, Type 1 borosilicate clear or amber glass vials are washed in non-phosphate detergent, rinsed three times with tap water, and rinsed with ASTM Type-1 organic-free water to remove detergent. Post cleaning, vials are assembled with PTFE/silicone septa and open-top polypropylene caps.

PTFE/silicone/PTFE – TST1, TST11 A layer of PTFE on each side of medium hardness silicone. Most resistant to coring with above average resealing characteristics. Recommended for most demanding applications such as trace analysis, longer time between injections, or for internal standards.
